YOB crime has soared in the 12 years since Labour came to power, shock figures revealed yesterday.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Justice the number of teens repeatedly offending has risen 60%.
Yobs classed as "Persistent Young Offenders" now account for nearly 80 crimes every day - an 80% rise on the 1997 figure.
Shadow Police Minister David Ruffley said the system was failing to rehabilitate offenders or keep them off the streets.
He said: "These figures show Labour Ministers have presided over a decade of yobbery, fuelled by massive increases in repeat young offenders."
