David Ruffley MP will be attending a 'send off' of the harvester machine representing the UK sugar beet industry on its way to Lord Mayor of London's Show. This is at the Bury St Edmunds sugar factory on Friday 11 November at 12noon.
David Ruffley said: 'The Lord Mayor's Show is an annual parade in London that has over 6000 participants and is 800 years old. The 'send off' will have the Agrifac 'Big Six' 6-row harvester on display. I am very proud that Suffolk farming and industry are being represented in the Lord Mayor's Show. The combined work of British Sugar, NFU, The Worshipful Company of Farmers and Agrifac have made this representation possible, and I am very pleased to be able to participate in the 'send off' from Bury St Edmunds.'
