David Ruffley MP to Attend Dedication to Lance Corporal Adam Drane

On 11 June David Ruffley MP will attend a ceremony to plant a tree and dedicate a plaque and tree to Lance Corporal Adam Drane, the 100th British service personnel to be killed in Afghanistan. Lance Corporal Drane died while on active duty with the Royal Anglian Regiment in the Helmand province in December 2009. The ceremony will take place in Stanningfield.

Mr Ruffley said: 'We all owe an enormous debt of gratitude to our servicemen and women who have fought so bravely in Afghanistan. I am deeply honoured to be able to attend the dedication to this young man which will serve as a permanent reminder to the sacrifice that he and his family have made.'
