David Ruffley MP spent his Good Friday as a member of the crowd in this year's Passion Play.
This year the play took to the streets and paraded from St Edmundsbury Cathedral- where the Last Supper was enacted to the Apex building, where the trial was enacted.
Mr Ruffley said; 'I was thrilled to watch this great event which seems to get better every year. I was pleased to see that there was a huge congregation in the Cathedral who turned out of all age groups. Easter is such an important event in the Christian calendar and I am glad that so many also agree and came out to celebrate.
I would like to commend all those who worked so hard to make the Passion play, such a spectacular event. '
