David Ruffley MP will be attending the opening of Abbot's Hall project at the Museum of East Anglian Life, Stowmarket, on 22 June at 2.30pm.
David Ruffley MP said: 'I am delighted to be a part of the celebration of Abbot's Hall renovation.
Inside the Hall, 9 exhibition rooms have been created to give visitors the chance to explore parts of the Museum's collection that have never before been on public display. Each object on display tells stories about East Anglia and the history of the people who have lived and worked in our wonderful area. And outside I am greatly looking forward to seeing its walled gardens.
The Museum is one of the largest in Suffolk, occupying over 80 acres of countryside. I am very pleased to see how it continues to grow and find innovative ways to get the public to engage with the unique and diverse history of Stowmarket.'
