David Ruffley MP will be a key note speaker at Suffolk Police Partnership conference, on 9 May at Suffolk Constabulary HQ, Martlesham Heath from 9.30am.

David Ruffley MP said: 'I will be speaking on the 'The Role of the new Suffolk Police and Crime Commissioner' and then taking panel questions from an audience which will include police officers, local politicians and magistrates.

This is an opportunity to explain how the Police and Crime Commissioner will take over from the Suffolk Police Authority and how this new elected and locally accountable Commissioner will have a mandate to improve policing in Suffolk.'
