David Ruffley MP will be visiting King Edward VI School, Bury St Edmunds on Friday 14 October at 9.30am.
David said: 'I will be sitting in on lessons with pupils as well as meeting staff to discuss educational policy in the constituency.
'Education is a fundamental bedrock of our society and I am very pleased to have to opportunity to meet students at a school rated 'outstanding' at their last Ofsted inspection.
'I will also be discussing with the Head, Geoff Barton, what KEG's intentions are regarding the move away from middle schools which feed into his school.'
