David Ruffley MP will be visiting South Lee School in Bury St Edmunds on Friday 25 November at 10.30am, accompanied by Governor, Mr David Barker.
David Ruffley said: 'I look forward to meeting pupils and teachers at South Lee School. The school is a particularly interesting organisation in light of the current focus on Free Schools. We can draw parallels with its creation from scratch in 1961 by a group of concerned parents operating as a charitable trust, with the current innovations in education regarding the creation of Free Schools across the country.
The School has a can-do ethos . That is why I am going to learn more about its plans to build a new sports hall which will allow access to the wider non-school community in the area.'
