David Ruffley MP will be visiting St Nicholas Hospice, Bury St Edmunds on Friday 18 November at 2pm.
David Ruffley said:- ' I will be visiting the Hospice to see the palliative services provided for end of life care and to meet with staff to hear about the latest developments. I will be meeting Alastair Robinson, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Barbara Gale, Chief Executive, before touring the Hospice's facilities.
The Hospice provides support to over 500 people every quarter and since September this year it has increased outpatient, group and day care services, including bereavement support. They support people (and their families) on wards, at home and via their day hospice services as well as offering a full bereavement, social work and psychological support service for adults and children.
I look forward to listening to staff and volunteers to find out how they feel Government can better support their work.'
