David Ruffley MP said: 'I am very pleased to be visiting Wattisham and finding out more about the fantastic work our forces do.
I will be meeting Station Commander Colonel Neale Moss to discuss life and issues on the Station and will then make a tour. There will be an opportunity to visit the Welfare Centre to see the support services for dependants of servicemen and servicewomen on base.
There will be a viewing of the AH Apache helicopter and a chance to meet with the crew as well as lunch with servicemen. I am always delighted to have the chance to meet with members of our Armed Forces and I look forward to being able to sit down and get to hear about day to day life on the base and when they are in theatre.
I am also looking forward to visiting the renovated museum and also to have the chance to see a renovated Hunter aircraft- a British jet originally built in the 1950s.'
