David Ruffley MP will be joining the rest of Bury St Edmunds in celebrating the Homecoming of 15 Squadron Royal Air Force Regiment and other celebrations on Armed Forces Day, 25 June 2011.

Saturday, 25 June, 2011

On Saturday 25 June, David Ruffley will be welcoming the 15 Squadron Royal Air Force Regiment back home to RAF Honington at a medal ceremony on Angel Hill at 11am. Later on that day David Ruffley will also be in attendance at a variety of other events to celebrate Armed Forces Day in Bury St Edmunds.

Mr Ruffley said: 'I am thoroughly looking forward to the programme of events planned for this coming Saturday. I will find it particularly moving to welcome home the 15 Squadron Air Force Regiment back from their service overseas. I am also looking forward to the fly past of a spitfire.

This community spirit is important: to raise public awareness of the contribution made to our country by those who serve and have served in Her Majesty's Armed Forces.

I am pleased to say that Bury St Edmunds has thrown itself into the spirit of Armed Forces day which, this year, should be thoroughly enjoyed by all who participate. '
