David Ruffley MP will be joining the children and staff for assembly and a tour of the classes at Beyton Middle School.

David Ruffley said of the visit, 'I am looking forward to seeing the school ahead of big changes to the schooling system in Suffolk.

Suffolk will be a two tier system meaning that Middle Schools will close whilst Primary Schools (age 5-11) and Secondary or Upper Schools (11-18) will be expanding. I am interested to have discussions with teachers about the new schooling system and listen to their concerns. I am hopeful that this new system will cause children less disruption to their learning and that it will encourage schools to bid for Academy Status.'
