David Ruffley attended the election hustings held at the United Reform Church in Stowmarket this evening.

David said:

'Events like this evening's hustings in Stowmarket are all about making politics more accessible. Local people had the invaluable opportunity to quiz each of the candidates on local, national and international issues- it was a real pleasure to attend.

'It is important that as many people as possible vote in this election and it is my hope that events such as this encourage more people in the constituency to do so. Local people are confronted with a real choice at this election- another 5 years of Gordon Brown or the change that only a Conservative government can deliver.'
