David Ruffley will be a keynote speaker at the annual 'Suffolk Limited' breakfast seminar on Friday, 6 November at Hengrave Hall, Bury St Edmunds.

David Ruffley MP will represent H M Opposition and will speak on policy for business in Suffolk. There will also be speakers from the other two main political parties.

Suffolk Limited is a long-running initiative set up by Grant Thornton LLP which interprets the performance of Suffolk business each year by consolidating the results of the 100 largest entrepreneurial companies in the county. The findings are released at an annual breakfast seminar which is now a major event in the Suffolk business calendar with up to 200 people expected to attend.

After the headline findings relating to the Suffolk economy have been presented at the breakfast, the keynote speakers will be invited to present their manifestos for the county's businesses.

David said:

'I believe Suffolk is an excellent county in which to invest. My recent visits to companies in my constituency have shown that many businesses have found ways to survive the worst effects of the recession.

'But we must do all we can to provide the conditions in which every business can thrive and that means getting credit flowing again, reducing the burden of red tape and introducing new initiatives to help small businesses, the backbone of our local economy.'
