Ruffley to be Quizzed by Over Sixties on Howard Estate

Monday, 12 September, 2005

David Ruffley has been invited to address the Over 60s group of Howard Estate residents on Tuesday, 13 September in the Howard Estate Community Centre in St Olaves Road, Bury St Edmunds. The group is run by Mr Ernie Broome, a St Olaves Road resident.

David will talk about his role as MP for Bury St Edmunds, both in Parliament and in his constituency. He will then take questions on anything and everything that the audience wishes to quiz him on.

David said: 'The Over 60s on the Howard Estate is a thriving and lively group so I am expecting some tough questions from them! I am no stranger to the Howard Estate as I keep in close touch with HEART (Howard Estate Association of Residents and Tenants) so I am sure there will be familiar faces in the audience. I have no doubt that law and order, council tax and pensions will be among the important issues that they raise with me. I will do my best to address their concerns.'
