Monday, 5 February, 2007

David Ruffley MP has today written to the head of the Politics department at each of the Upper Schools in his constituency and invited their students to submit questions to him which he will then answer on his new internet TV channel Ruffley TV.

David will select the best question from each school and answer them in a video on Ruffley TV and in a podcast which students will be able to download from his website and listen to on their iPods.

David said:

'My new website has fantastic scope for interactivity with the people of Suffolk.

'I have asked each of the politics students in my constituency to a write a question they would like me to answer, I will choose the most original and interesting question from each school and answer them on my website via my new internet TV channel Ruffley TV.

'This is the type of new initiative I want to do more of and I will continue to do my utmost to set new standards of accessibility and accountability for a British Member of Parliament.

'I have always been deeply impressed by the level of insight and the breadth of knowledge that Suffolk's young people possess and I have no doubt that they will come up with some equally impressive questions.'
