In view of the referendums that are due to take place within the next few weeks in both France and the Netherlands, David Ruffley has launched his own online referendum on the proposed European Constitution. The latest polling suggests the voting will be evenly split in both countries and will be a close run thing.

David said:

'I think it is vital for the British people to have their say on what is one the major issues of our time. The present Government are refusing to give a date for the referendum in this country but I am determined to make my constituents aware of this issue and to give them their say.
