Ruffley Makes Local Website Accessible For All

Tuesday, 25 February, 2003

David Ruffley MP has adapted his website to ensure that it can be accessed by people with limited vision.

David said, 'As a Patron of the West Suffolk Voluntary Association for the Blind, I am very aware of the considerable difficulties that people with poor sight encounter in every day life.

'I want ALL of my constituents to be able to access my website to find out about what I am doing for the local community. The technology I have introduced will magnify existing smaller print on the website. As the use of websites to access information becomes more and more popular, I want to ensure that all of my constituents are able to access information about my local and Parliamentary work.'
