Ruffley meets with Bury business community

Wednesday, 23 November, 2005

David Ruffley MP will be addressing two meetings of the Bury St Edmunds business community on Friday November 25.

Between 8.20 and 9.20 David will be speaking at The Very Early Lunch Club at the Angel Hotel. The Very Early Lunch Club is a business networking club which was set up in 2004 to provide networking opportunities for local businesses in a 'relaxed and welcoming environment'. Previous speakers include Andrew Duff MEP, Walter Herriot MBE and Tom Lloyd, Chief Constable of Cambridgeshire.

Between 12.45 and 2.15 David will be addressing The Magna Carta Club, at the Farmer's Club in Bury St Edmunds, where he will be giving a talk on the current economic position and likely future budget prospects.

David said:

'I always welcome the opportunity to talk with local businessmen and listen to their concerns.

'My meetings with The Very Early Lunch Club and, later in the day, The Magna Carta Club will give me a chance to talk with, and listen to, people at the heart of our region's business community.

'This is a vital dialogue and one I am very much looking forward to.'
