David Ruffley MP will be visiting RAF Honington on Friday 27 April at 2pm at the invitation of Lt Col Gibb.

David will meet with recruits at the RAF Regiment Training Wing then see new recruits accommodation before meeting with 15 Sqn RAF Regt to see role change training.

David said:

'We are privileged to have RAF Honington in our community. I am eagerly anticipating my visit and look forward to discussing the vital role they play.

'I am particularly looking forward to meeting with the new recruits and listening to what they have to say about their early experiences of the RAF.

'Many of these serving men, women and their families, who live within the heart of our community, face special challenges in times of war.

'These brave men and women from Suffolk serve our Country with distinction.

'They put themselves in harms way on behalf of us all. There is no praise high enough for what they do in our name.'
