David Ruffley is urging the Government to reform the law relating to Park Homes in the Housing Bill currently going through Parliament.

David has signed Early Day Motion 292 on Park Home Reform and the Housing Bill. He has also written personally to the Minister, Yvette Cooper at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, urging her to incorporate legislation which will help his constituents living in park homes.

David said: 'The Government admitted as far back as October 2001 that park home law needed reform but so far they have failed to act. My constituents living in park homes can be vulnerable to harassment and exploitation. We need to strengthen the law to protect them. Many constituents in both Saxon Park, Needham Market and Wixfield Park, Great Bricett have contacted me about their concerns over the lack of regulation of park home sites. The Government now has a chance to act and I urge them to do so. If we lose this opportunity yet another year will pass before my constituents get the protection they deserve.'
