Ruffley welcomes new Dean of St Edmundsbury, the Reverend Canon Dr Frances Ward,
and attends her installation on Saturday 16 October at St Edmundsbury Cathedral

David Ruffley MP has welcomed the Reverend Canon Dr Frances Ward as the new Dean of St Edmundsbury and will attend her installation at St Edmundsbury Cathedral at 2.30pm on Saturday 16 October.

David said:

'I am delighted to welcome Frances Ward to St Edmundsbury and wish her every success in her new role.

'I keep in close contact with church leaders in my constituency and very much look forward to working with the new Dean for the benefit of our mutual constituents and congregation.

'The church always plays an important role in the local community but in these tough economic times, its importance becomes even greater in supporting the more vulnerable people in our society. I will be doing all I can to support the church's ministry.'
