Ruffley welcomes Suffolk County Council events for young people with disabilities

Wednesday, 26 April, 2006

David Ruffley MP has today welcomed the news that Suffolk County Council will be holding a series of events across the County to give young people with disabilities or learning difficulties the chance to gain more information and guidance to help them when they leave school.

Various information stalls covering topics such as personal finance, housing, health care and transport will also be at the events.

The No Limits Transition Progression Events will be held on 4, 10 and 11 May this year at Ipswich Town Football Club, Moreton Hall Community Centre in Bury St Edmunds and the Victoria Hotel in Lowestoft respectively.

David said:

'I am delighted that Suffolk County Council is able to give children with disabilities and learning difficulties the opportunity to participate in these events.

'They will provide valuable and up-to-date information about the services and opportunities available to young people as well as giving them the chance to learn what support is available to them.

No Limits is made possible through The Suffolk Disability Resource Service, which consists of a group of organisations that have collaborated to provide information for disabled young people in Suffolk.
