News Flash : Ruffley granted ‘Travellers’ Debate by the Speaker of the House of Commons for Thursday 16th September
David Ruffley will this week be raising the important issue of the travellers camp at Woolpit and the inability of our planning laws to deal with Suffolk concern about the system.
David Ruffley said:
“I am glad that I have been able to use my influence with the Speaker to secure a debate in the House of Commons this Thursday, the 16th September. I promised my concerned constituents that I would raise their views at the very highest level and I will now be challenging the Government in Parliament to look at this situation with some urgency.
“I am grateful to Speaker Martin for granting a debate immediately upon the return of the House. This demonstrates the urgent nature of this issue for my constituents.”
